Workshop on Production of Recycled Paper

The workshop will be conducted by Helga Lyubartovich, restorer, archivist of the Museum of Nonconformist Art

How to creatively recycle your recyclables and make something beautiful and functional out of them? In this workshop we will create handmade paper using an old-fashioned technique. We will use egg cartridges, leftover wrapping paper, used kraft and office paper. Participants will get acquainted with all stages of the process: they will assemble a screen for casting paper pulp, prepare the mixture, form their own sheet of paper, get acquainted with different methods of coloring and decorating. We invite you to let your imagination run wild - add dried flower petals, seeds, natural flavors to your paper.

The finished sheets can be used for writing and drawing, sewn into an album, used to decorate photos, made into cards or home décor. Creating such paper is not only a fun creative process, but also a way to recycle recycled paper yourself, saving valuable natural resources.
